About Pregnancy Therapies
Pregnancy therapies was born from years of experience working in the NHS across all areas of a busy maternity unit, in midwife led birth centres, in the community and, in a continuity of carer team. From this experience I recognised that no two pregnancies are the same and each pregnancy journey is different, throughout which, everyone will have different and often changing needs.
That is why at Pregnancy Therapies the holistic midwifery support and complementary therapy treatments I provide will always be individualised and tailored to meet your own personal needs.
Not only that, I understand that what people want most during their pregnancy is a safe space and the undivided attention of a supportive and experienced midwife to be able to discuss their thoughts, feelings, fears, anxieties and any problems during their pregnancy. Working in the NHS has shown me how difficult this can be to achieve in busy NHS antenatal clinics with limited time for each appointment.
Through Pregnancy Therapies I provide individualised holistic midwifery care and support throughout pregnancy and postnatally for you and your baby in addition to the routine care you recieve from your NHS provider. I also offer a variety of Complementary Therapy treatments that are safe in pregnancy and can healp to ease a variety of pregnancy related symptoms, such as backache, pelvic discomfort, nausea and sickness, or help toprepare your body for birth and encourage the natural onset of labour or encourage a breech (bottom first) baby to turn into a head down position.
